The Guelph Black Heritage Society and The Let’s Talk Science Black Volunteer Collective are excited to present The Code to Success: Black History in STEM event. Celebrate the success of Black scientists throughout history while learning essential concepts in computer coding with hands-on activities led by Let’s Talk Science Guelph and The Black Volunteer Collective. Participants will learn how computers think with screen-less coding activities using ozobot mini robots while also learning about the Black scientists that paved the way for science and technology today!
Join us Thursday February 27th at 5pm at Heritage Hall, 83 Essex Street, Guelph.
Activities will be suitable for youth k-8, 25 spaces are available. Register for free, donations are welcome. Donations go towards the GBHS Heart & Soul Campaign. The Heritage Hall Heart & Soul Campaign is a significant fundraising effort to expand and revitalize resources and programming at the GBHS.
