Health & Fitness for Older Adults
Presented by Ria Nelson, this presentation will be covering seven (7) practices older adults can do to maintain and or become healthier and fitter. The practices will be explained, and examples will be shared on these practice, on how they can be done safely and easily with the goal of improving their overall health.
The Heritage Hall has been recently renovated and is fully accessible. Refreshments will be provided and transportation is available.
This program is open to all members of the community and there is no charge to register.
Ria Nelson is a certified Fitness coach with the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and certified Personal trainer with the International Sports Conditioning Association (ISCA). She has always been passionate about health and fitness and that passion was fueled when she founded Sculpting by Ria Fitness in 2019. Over the years, she has developed fitness programs to improve her client’s overall health and fitness. Her belief is “Your Health is Your Wealth”.
Ria holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and an associate degree in management. She is also a model and former beauty queen for her native country Trinidad and Tobago.
