Heritage Hall, 83 Essex Street, Guelph
Join us for a vibrant culinary journey led by Arlette Martínez, born in Oaxaca, Mexico, trained as a chef in Montreal, and now an anthropologist and researcher. Arlette blends food, culture, and community to create meaningful shared experiences.
In this session, we’ll explore Afromexican ingredients and their cultural significance, followed by a tasting of stuffed plantains, refried beans, and hibiscus water.
All are welcome to learn, taste, and connect.
